Company History
We started in the Solar industry in 1992 with Helios Power when the first photovoltaic module factory in South Africa opened in Pretoria. The members of Solarite were previously employed by Helios Power, which later became Liselo (Pty) Ltd. All the members of Solarite worked on every phase of the production and some members were involved in the installations of 200 rural schools and 20 rural clinics over the last 13 years. Liselo (Pty) Ltd closed the factory in March 2005 and therefore gave us the opportunity to start Solarite where we can use our years of experience & knowledge to serve the Solar industry. Solarite CC contributed to sustainable energy by selling 29 Kilowatt of solar power in 2005 & 48 Kilowatt of solar power in 2006.
Vision
We will continue to supply our customers with top quality photovoltaic products and systems, with the best level of product support. We are committed to remain at the forefront of photovoltaic technology developments, while maintaining a complete systems approach to our products in order to ensure our customers receive reliable and efficient product and systems. We are well known for our after sale service and will continue doing so. We are also giving technical support to customers all over Africa, even if we did not supply the systems. We believe in Solar Power and we believe in Africa.
